By booking an appointment with us, you agree to the following policies.
First Time Clients
As a first time client, you must book your first appointment yourself online.
When you book your initial appointment you’ll be asked for a credit card per our cancellation policy. We apologise but this is non-negotiable. Your card is not charged a cent, it is only kept on file w. a secure system to be used in the event of a “no call no show” appointment.
We appreciate your understanding.
Late Policy
We allow for a 15 minute late arrival, IF you call or text message us in advance. If we do not hear from you, we cancel your appointment & we charge your card on file for the full service booked.
*We cannot redeem a Groupon in lieu of the charge to your card
**Please note before we charge the card you have on file we would have tried to reach you.
Groupons
We love Groupon just as much as the next person, but we only accept one(1) Groupon per person within 90 days.
Let us know if you’re interested in specials and if we have any we’ll definitely let you know. (We always honor the Groupon price if we have an active Groupon, just take a screen shot of your price & book your session)
Cancellation
All appointments require a 24 hour cancellation notice in writing via e-mail or text message to (808) 743-3460
If we do not hear from you, we will cancel your appointment & we will charge your card for the full service booked.
Waivers
All clients are required to sign a waiver in studio for each new service that is booked.
Please note that we always take a before & after photo. You cannot opt out of the photos but you can ask us not to use them in social media or marketing materials, and we will always respect your privacy.
Dirty Lashes
Please come to all your appointments with a clean face. Please do not apply ANY eye makeup, sunscreen, moisturizers, etc as this may interfere with your retention.
If you arrive with eyelashes or any creams or makeup, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment & charge your card on file for the full service booked. Please understand, any extra time we spend cleaning off debris takes away from your lashing time. We Can’t compromise our work standards and have a client leave with sub-par work. We’re just not that kind of studio.
Working off Other Studios Work
As a general rule, we do not work off the work of other studios. We require you to come into the studio with clean, natural lashes.
We do however take each situation on a case by cases, so the best thing to do it let us know as soon as you book your appointment, so we can take note, and be prepared for a little extra time to check out the status of the other extensions.
Refunds/Work Guarantee
Due to the nature of services offered, we do not offer refunds.
We do however, offer a guarantee of work. If you are not satisfied with the work our aestheticians provide, please contact us at aloha@malamaiostudios.com within 24 hours of your appointment time to discuss corrective options. We can help correct any issues, and will do our best to get you in as soon as possible, but we must be contacted within 24 hours of your appointment time.
Groupon Refunds
If you are not able to secure an appointment that works with your schedule, but you have purchased a Groupon, please contact Groupon for a refund via your account. We have no ability to issue a refund for a Groupon purchase as Groupon is a separate business.
If you’re unsure about scheduling, please contact us BEFORE you purchase a Groupon so we can help.

It is above and beyond about safety! Covid rules are followed! Parking was easy and they have two reserved spots. Inside is clean but not sterile. She takes the time to know what you want and guide you as best as she can. This was 1000% an amazing experience.
